About Valerie:
Valerie joined ORS Partners as a Talent Consultant and has since advanced to the role of Senior Talent Consultant. During her three-year tenure, she has made significant contributions across multiple industries, including Healthcare, Technology/Software, and Hospitality.
Outside of work, Valerie is deeply committed to community service through volunteering. She’s an avid Pittsburgh sports enthusiast, particularly following the Penguins and Steelers. Her pursuit of continuous learning is evident in her dedication to mastering sign language. She also nurtures her love for literature, especially historical fiction.
At ORS Partners, Valerie has taken on several high-impact roles and initiatives. She served as the lead recruiter for an assisted living community, successfully helping them reduce agency spending. Currently, she’s spearheading a critical compliance initiative for the same client. Her commitment to professional development is demonstrated through her active participation in the mentorship program, where she has served both as a mentor to five colleagues and as a mentee herself.
Throughout her career, Valerie has built an impressive background in talent acquisition. Prior to ORS Partners, she excelled as a Regional Recruiting Manager, where she led a team of 16 across nine locations, managing recruitment for up to seven clients simultaneously. She also served as a Centralized Recruiter for a major convenience store chain in North Carolina, overseeing recruitment for approximately 50 communities across three districts.
While Valerie has received numerous accolades from clients and client champions, her true impact is best measured by her emergence as a trusted resource for less experienced consultants and her ability to adapt to challenging projects outside of traditional recruitment roles.
She attributes her success to her unwavering determination and refusal to accept failure, qualities that have consistently driven her outstanding performance and leadership in both recruitment and consultative roles.
